Refund & Cancellation Policy

At MOTEZE SOFTWARE, LLC (operating as FooterMonitor), we want you to be fully satisfied with our Service. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when and how you can request a refund and how subscription cancellations work.

1. 14-Day Refund Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new subscription purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase date.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The refund request must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  • This guarantee applies to first-time purchases of a subscription plan.
  • Refunds for renewal payments are evaluated on a case-by-case basis (see Section 3).

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request."
  2. Include your account email address and order number (found in your account under Orders & Billing).
  3. Briefly describe the reason for your refund request (this helps us improve the Service).

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Eligible for Full Refund

  • First-time subscriptions within the 14-day guarantee period.
  • Charges resulting from billing errors or duplicate payments.
  • Service was materially unavailable or non-functional during your subscription period.

3.2 Eligible for Partial/Prorated Refund

  • Annual subscription cancellations after the 14-day period may qualify for a prorated refund for the unused portion of the subscription, at our discretion.
  • Downgrade requests where the difference between plan prices can be credited.

3.3 Not Eligible for Refund

  • Requests submitted more than 14 days after the initial purchase (for first-time purchases).
  • Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Disputes filed as chargebacks with your bank without first contacting us (see Section 6).

4. Subscription Cancellation

4.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected].

4.2 What Happens When You Cancel

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will continue to have full access to all features of your plan until the period expires.
  • Automatic renewal will be stopped, and you will not be charged again.
  • After your subscription period ends, your account will revert to limited access. Your monitoring data will be retained for 30 days in case you wish to resubscribe.

4.3 Reactivation

If you cancel and later wish to resume the Service, you can resubscribe at any time from the pricing page. Your previous monitoring data may still be available if you resubscribe within 30 days of cancellation.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
  • Refunds for payments made via Stripe are processed through Stripe. Payments made via Paddle are refunded through Paddle. Payments made via PayTR are refunded through PayTR.

6. Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without prior communication may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account.
  • Loss of eligibility for future refunds.
  • Additional fees incurred by the chargeback process.

We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly. In most cases, we can resolve concerns faster than the chargeback process.

7. Plan Changes

  • Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher plan, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period. The upgraded plan takes effect immediately.
  • Downgrades: When downgrading to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your current plan features until then.
